Lewisville
The Salvation Army of Lewisville opened as an emergency overnight cold weather shelter Feb. 2.
The warming shelter is located at 206 W. Main St. in Lewisville.
Donations are also being accepted, according to the Salvation Army. Hats, gloves, hand warmers, bottled water and coffee are welcome along with monetary and time donations.

GoZone services are suspended. Via determined it is unsafe for its operators to continue service, according to a Denton County Transportation Authority new release. Riders should check the app for any service updates that may occur Feb. 3 and 4.
Flower Mound
Flower Mound crews worked overnight to monitor the weather and road conditions and ensure safe and passable thoroughfares, according to the town.
Public works crews started sanding bridges, major intersections and entrances to public safety buildings in the early morning hours Feb. 3 and are continuing sanding operations around town. Roads are passable but slick.
The Gerault flyover bridge was closed at 11:30 p.m. Feb. 2 and remains closed, according to the town. There were no increased calls overnight due to weather, and no power outages were reported by Oncor or CoServe in town.
Highland Village
Highland Village city facilities are closed Feb. 3 due to inclement weather.
Police, fire, streets and utilities are on duty, according to the city. Online services, such as for utility billing and the municipal court, are available.
Community waste disposal will not collect trash and recycling Feb. 4.
