Restore It Forward is hosting its Water Safety Fest and Fundraiser on June 19 at the Splash Pad in Doubletree Ranch Park in Highland Village.

The event will teach families how to be safe in the water. Instructors will offer swim lessons, cover how to put on life vests and teach what to do if caught in a riptide. The sponsoring company, Mr. Restore, aims to spread awareness on the dangers of drowning for young children in the water. Proceeds from the event will go to the Loan-A-Life Jacket program with the Grapevine Fire Department.

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for individuals and $15 for families. For more information and tickets, visit www.restoreitforward.org.
