Early voting opens for races on May 1 ballot in Lewisville, Flower Mound, Highland Village

Early voting opens April 19 for the May 1 local election.

Contested races on the ballot include mayors for Lewisville and Flower Mound, two Lewisville City Council races, one Flower Mound Town Council race, three Highland Village City Council races and two Lewisville ISD board of trustees races. Lewisville voters will also cast ballots on four city charter amendments.

Polls will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. April 19-24 and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. April 25 in Denton County. Early voting will continue from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. April 26 and 27. Election day is May 1.

Denton County voters may vote at any polling location in the county during early voting but must vote at their precinct polling location on election day.
