Denton County Public Health will open a free drive-thru coronavirus testing center May 19 in Denton for eligible residents who have registered over the phone.

To be eligible, a resident must have experienced coronavirus symptoms in the past week. These symptoms include, but are not limited to fever, cough, difficulty breathing, chills, loss of taste or smell, headache and more. Registration must be completed by calling 940-349-2585.

The testing site will be set up in the Union Circle parking garage at the University of North Texas from 8 a.m.-noon. The garage is located at 350 S. Welch Street, Denton.
