Denton County Public Health announced May 15 that an additional 24 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed locally, bringing the county’s total to 1,040 cases.
So far, 548 residents who were diagnosed with the virus have since recovered, 464 cases remain active and 28 residents have died due to the virus.
Forty-five Flower Mound residents, 13 Highland Village residents and 146 Lewisville residents have tested positive for the virus, according to officials.
