Voters in Lewisville and Coppell can cast their ballot for the Nov. 5 election during the early voting period from Oct. 21-Nov. 1.

What you need to know

Denton County residents can cast their votes at one of 54 early voting locations countywide, including 5 locations in Lewisville. For a full list of early voting locations, visit www.votedenton.gov/early-voting-information.

Polling location operating hours vary, according to the Denton County Election Office’s website, and are as follows:
  • 7 a.m.-7 p.m. from Oct. 21-26
  • 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Oct. 27
  • 7 a.m.-7 p.m from Oct. 28-Nov. 1
Dallas County residents can cast their votes at one of 71 early voting locations countywide, including one location in Coppell. For a full list of early voting locations, as well as updates on wait times at each location, visit www.dallascountyvotes.org/vote-centers.

Polling location operating hours vary, according to the Dallas County Election Office’s website, and are as follows:
  • 8 a.m.-5 p.m. from Oct. 21-25
  • Noon.-6 p.m. on Oct. 27
  • 7 a.m.-7 p.m on Oct. 26 and from Oct. 28-Nov. 1
On the ballot


Ballots will feature several federal and state races, as well as county races, which include:
  • Denton County Constable, Precinct 6
  • Denton County Constable, Precinct 1
  • Denton County Sheriff
Residents of Coppell ISD’s coverage area will also consider one proposition regarding a voter-approval tax ratification election.

Looking ahead

Election Day is set for Nov. 5 and voting locations will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., according to the Texas Secretary of State’s website. Registered voters can cast their ballot at any location countywide on Election Day.
