Why are you running for this position?

I'm running because our kids, families and communities deserve better. I have seen firsthand how the corruption in politics has impacted costs, education and our daily lives. I’ll fight for an affordable cost of living, strong schools and a Texas built for everyone’s success.

What would your top priorities be if elected?

Lower costs for groceries, childcare and healthcare. Fully fund our public schools, not voucher scams. Protect families and communities from state overreach and self-serving politicians. Build economic opportunities and good-paying jobs. Support neighborhood and school safety. Stand up to corruption and billionaires’ influence in our state.

What are the biggest challenges facing this district?

Greed and corruption are at the root of our biggest challenges. Affordability is a major one I hear in our district: gas, food, healthcare and childcare costs are rising, while wages aren't. Education is another: our next generation, our teachers and our future workforce suffer from inadequate public school funding.

What projects are most important for the legislature to focus on for the future of Texas?

Strengthen infrastructure, like our power grid, clean water and air. Have stronger safety and transparency requirements for AI data centers. To grow to the seventh largest global economy, we need serious support of public schools, higher education and apprenticeship programs. Protect against corruption, e.g. introducing an independent redistricting commission.
