1. 9/11 tribute at the Allen Public Library
The Allen Community Band is honoring the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks with a musical tribute featuring patriotic pieces and music written for 9/11 remembrance. Journalist William Luther will also share his experience covering the tragedy.

2. The Market at The Village at Allen
The Village at Allen is hosting a farmers market at The Grove with fresh produce and handmade items from local artisans. The event is family friendly and dogs are welcome.

3. 2026 Guns & Hoses Boxing Tournament
North Texas police officers and firefighters will compete in a boxing tournament at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center. Proceeds from the event will go toward the Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas, which assists families of first responders.

4. Live music at Watters Creek Village
Local band Radio Edit will be performing rock, pop and country hits at Watters Creek Village. Guests can purchase food and drinks from surrounding restaurants.

5. Story time with at Bravo Park
Jeanie Schulmeister will be reading two bear-themed books at Bravo Park at Sloan Corners near the bear statue. Attendees will also hear the reveal of the bear statue’s name.
