Keller City Council unanimously approved the rehabilitation and resurfacing of eight streets at a regular council meeting Oct. 21.

What you need to know

The road renovations are part of a collaboration with staff from Tarrant County in the Pavement Maintenance Program and is a temporary addition to other collaborations with the county, according to city documents.

Precinct 3 of Tarrant County will provide the labor and equipment for the roadwork, and the city of Keller will cover the costs. The roadwork is estimated to cost about $1.29 million and will be paid through the Street System Capital Improvements Project Fund with funding from the city’s general fund, according to city documents.

The specifics


Existing pavement will be replaced with a new base for parts of the following streets:
  • Cheyenne Trail
  • North Pearson Lane
  • Willis Lane
  • Roanoke Road
  • Judge Bland Road
  • Lucian Lane
  • Oakhill Road
  • Oak Trail
Construction is scheduled to begin in January and is expected to be completed by August, according to a city social media post. More details about the construction schedule will come at a later time.
