The dog park closed in February to allow the city's Parks and Recreation Department to regrow grass, fix uneven terrain and improve damaged areas, according to a city social media post. At the time, the estimated closure was to be between six to 12 weeks.
The park, which opened in 2016, offers a variety of options for dogs and dog owners. That includes:
- Separate areas for large and small dogs
- A shade pavilion
- Seating
- Water fountains
- A variety of agility equipment
- Reopened June 6
- 405 Rufe Snow Drive, Keller
