State Rep. Ben Bumgarner, R-Flower Mound, has opened a local office in Roanoke.

The agreement between the town and Bumgarner was approved during the June 27 meeting, which will lease a 650-square-foot office at 108 S. Oak St.

The contract is for $200 a month, which started July 1 and will run until Dec. 31, 2024. The cost is to cover electricity and other minimal costs, according to documents.

The House District 63 representative was elected in November to replace now-Sen. Tan Parker. His district covers Flower Mound, Lewisville, Carrollton, Trophy Club and Roanoke.


He serves on the Defense & Veterans' Affairs and the International Relations & Economic Development Committees.

Bumgarner was a Flower Mound council member from 2019-22.
