    Nov 2 | Roanoke Veterans Day Parade and Car Show

    The annual event will host a parade honoring United States veterans starting at noon. The car show will take place around City Hall Plaza and start at 10 a.m. Awards for the car show will be awarded at 1:30 p.m.Nov. 9 | Craft Show

    Support the Central High School Lightning Dancers with their 21st annual craft show, featuring over 150 vendors, performances, food, a "Santaland" and a silent auction.Nov. 11 | Tarrant County Veterans Day Parade

    Participants will gather in the Fort Worth Panther Island Pavilion parking lot, march down North Forest Park Boulevard along the Clear Fork of Trinity River and return. Join in to honor Fort Worth's veterans.Nov. 21 | Turkey Bingo

    Family and friends are welcome to the Eugene McCray Community Center for an evening of bingo and a chance to win a free Thanksgiving turkey as the grand prize.Nov. 28 | Run with the Turkeys


    Run or walk a 5k or 10k with family and friends. Participants will receive a "run with the turkey" unisex long-sleeve shirt and all finishers will receive a commemorative race medal.Dec. 6 | Holly Days

    Experience The Very Merry Light Parade, which will feature the illumination of the Christmas tree, a firework display, sledding and a chance to meet Santa.Dec. 7 | Hometown Holiday

    Celebrate the holiday season with Roanoke’s 31st annual Hometown Holiday event. City Hall Plaza throughout downtown will feature live entertainment, snow sledding, ice skating and photos with Santa Claus.
