For the third straight year, Tarrant County hosted the Professional Bull Riders World Finals—this time at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The two-day event was held May 18-19, the conclusion of two weeks of various competitions in Fort Worth and Arlington.

The background

The previous two World Finals were held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth. Events were held at Dickies Arena and Cowtown Arena before shifting east to Arlington for the Kid Rock’s Rock N’ Rodeo on May 17 and then the World Finals.

The annual event is projected to provide an estimated $28 million economic impact in Tarrant County, according to previous reporting.

Cassio Dias from São Francisco de Sales, Brazil, was crowned the PBR World Champion at the conclusion of the event. Sage Kimzey from Strong City, Oklahoma, took home the World Finals event title.
