Unofficial results show John Pullen and Ernie Adams won the Ward 1 and Ward 2 seats, respectively, for Roanoke City Council.
Pullen earned 90 votes, or 53.25% while Adams secured 130 votes, or 59.09%.
In the Ward 1 race, Jeff Barksdale has 42 votes, or 24.85%. Victor Molaschi secured 30 votes, or 17.75%, and Donald J. Glacy has seven votes, or 4.14%.
Jonathan Ackermann, the only other candidate in the Ward 2 race, has 40.91% of the votes, or 90 ballots cast for him.
All 220 Denton County precincts have reported to the Denton County Elections Office and all 158 precincts reported for Tarrant County. No Tarrant County Roanoke registered voters cast a ballot in this election, according to Tarrant County's website.

Unofficial results show John Pullen is leading the race for Roanoke City Council, Ward 1, and Ernie Adams is ahead in the race for Roanoke City Council, Ward 2.
According to unofficial early voting totals released from the Denton County Elections Office website, Pullen has secured 78 votes, or 59.54% of the votes tallied so far, while Adams has 58.94% of the votes, or 89 ballots.
For the portion of Roanoke residents who live in Tarrant County, early election results from the county’s election website show no votes have been cast in these two races yet.
The details
Pullen is ahead of Jeff Barksdale, Victor Molaschi and Donald J. Glacy for the Ward 1 position in Denton County. Barksdale has secured 27 votes, or 20.61% percent, while Molaschi earned 21 votes (16.03%) and Glacy has five votes, or 3.82%.
Early results show Jonathan Ackmann, the only other candidate running in the Ward 2 race, has earned 62 votes counted so far, or 41.06%.
Both terms are unexpired since a special election was called for these races after Bryan Moyers stepped down from the Ward 1 position and Hogan Page resigned from the Ward 2 position, according to previous reporting.
Both council members said they were moving away from Roanoke, making them ineligible to continue their terms.
The three scheduled 2026 races on the ballot for Roanoke City Council were canceled since only the incumbent candidates for each seat filed to run, according to previous reporting.
Overall, 6.45% of Denton County residents either turned out for early voting or mailed in a ballot, according to the county's election website. There are 578,734 registered voters in Denton County.
In Tarrant County, more than 59,000, or 4.49%, of people voted early or mailed in ballots of its nearly 1.32 million registered voters.
