Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is planning to build a 98,000 square-foot entertainment center at the southwest corner of I-35W and Tarrant Parkway next year.

The $14.5 million venue will feature indoor karting, games and laser tag, a restaurant and event rooms, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The Fort Worth location coincides with the construction of another Andretti Indoor Karting & Games located south of the EpicCentral entertainment district in Grand Prairie. Both venues will begin construction in February 2023. The Fort Worth location is set to be completed in October 2024.

The company currently has six locations with three others in Texas.

Andretti Indoor Karting and Games was established in 2001 and is named after race car driver John Andretti, who died in 2020 after a long battle with colon cancer. John’s uncle, Mario Andretti was an accomplished racer and the only driver to have won the Indianapolis 500, Daytona 500 and Formula One World Championship.

Andretti Indoor Karting and Games venues typically feature high-speed electric go-karts that race on multi-level tracks, cutting edge arcade games, boutique bowling and unique two-level laser tag arenas.
