Project: Construction will include restriping two Grapevine roadways, East Wall Street from Jenkins Street to Austin Street and Oak Grove Loop from Dove Loop Road to Dove Road. Tarrant County will provide labor, material and equipment for the project, while the city of Grapevine will pay for the material cost and provide traffic control assistance.

Update: Grapevine City Council approved the funding through an interlocal agreement with the county for the restriping project during the May 19 meeting.

Lonesome Dove Road reconstruction

Project: A city contractor is reconstructing Lonesome Dove Road between East Dove Road and Burney Lane.

Update: Work is underway, and drivers should expect delays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., which is when crews will be working on the street.

• Cost: $512,860
• Funding source: city of Southlake

Project: The project includes six phases and runs along North Carroll Avenue from Main Street to the access roads for SH 114. As part of the work, crews added turn lanes and made intersection improvements.

Update: Construction on the improvements is substantially complete. Final work includes traffic signal- and sign-related items, such as replacing the signal cabinet at the intersection of SH 114 and North Carroll Avenue.

• Cost: $2.07 million for the entire project

Project: The work is the second of four phases for enhancing sections along West Continental Boulevard. The intersection improvements at Continental and Davis Boulevard will help improve traffic flow in the area.

Update: After starting the second phase in mid-April, there is a northbound right lane closure along Davis Boulevard just south of Continental.

Project: Construction will include repaving East Dove Road between North Carroll Avenue and North Kimball Avenue. The project is part of the city’s planned pavement repair projects.

Lipscomb Street and Forest Street sidewalk addition, water line replacement

Project: Work included replacing the water line, sewer lines and storm drainage. It also included adding sidewalks along the streets.
