To celebrate 40 years in business, Trinity Metro is providing free rides throughout November.

The public transit service provides rides throughout Tarrant County, running from downtown Fort Worth through Grapevine to the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

Trinity Metro began operating Nov. 8, 1983, as the Fort Worth Transportation Authority.

“Trinity Metro has been an integral part of the community for 40 years,” Trinity Metro President and CEO Richard Andreski said in a news release. “We want to celebrate our 40th anniversary by offering free trips throughout November as a way to thank our loyal riders—and to invite new riders to try our transit network.”
