Samui Thai Cuisine is closing its location at The Shops at Legacy in October.

Samui Thai Cuisine offers soups, salads, curries and more in Plano. Some of its menu items include Tom Kha Coconut soup, which is made with mushrooms and a protein of choice, and pad Thai, which is made with rice noodles in a tamarind sauce.
The restaurant is planning to reopen at another location, according to an alert on its website. Owner Melissa Zaino said the restaurant has been in business for 23 years before its closure.
A new Flower Child is planned to open at the same location in early 2027, according to a representative from The Shops at Legacy East. Facility changes are expected to start in December, per previous reporting.
