Work is ongoing on SH 121 between Murphy Drive and Glade Road to install new managed lanes on the inside shoulder of the highway. The technology lanes will be open during peak traffic times to help alleviate congestion. The construction of most of the bridge structure over Harwood Road was recently completed, including the bridge deck pavement for the new northbound lanes. Construction of the bridge structure over Cheek-Sparger Road is scheduled for mid-to-late November and will begin with bridge beam placement.
