Colleyville residents can support local businesses this holiday season through the city’s gift card program.

The gist

Colleyville City Council approved the return of the Colleyville Christmas Gift Card program, according to an announcement from the city.
  • Each household will receive a $35 gift card
  • The first gift card will be distributed mid-November; a second card will be distributed mid-December
  • The city is also partnering with the Ministerial Alliance to distribute $50 Colleyville Cares gift cards to families in need
  • The gift cards can be used at participating restaurants and retail businesses in Colleyville through Jan. 14
  • Participating businesses will be reimbursed by the city once the program ends
The backstory

The gift card program is part of the city’s effort to help local businesses. Colleyville first began the program in 2018 to directly aid businesses impacted by construction along SH 26.

Gift cards have been sent out multiple times since then, with the most recent round of gift cards distributed earlier this year in June.
