Council approved an amendment to separate the Roberts Road project into two phases Oct. 17.
The first phase will include work on the westbound right-turn lane on Glade Road, water and sewer line replacements, and driveway and parking lot improvements. The second phase will include all work north of the driveway.
The project’s scope changed after city officials observed traffic flows during the September open house for the city’s new recreation center.
