Colleyville City Council approved an amendment to increase the existing professional services agreement with Freese and Nichols Inc. to separate the Roberts Road project into two phases, according to the Oct. 17 agenda item.

The details

The first phase will include work on the westbound right-turn lane on Glade Road, water and sewer line replacements, and driveway and parking lot improvements. The second phase will include all work north of the driveway.

The project’s scope changed after city officials observed traffic flows during the September open house for the city’s new recreation center.

The total cost after the amendment is nearly $419,000. Funding is available through the city’s capital projects fund.
