Two new automotive brands will be coming to Grapevine in early 2022 following City Council’s approval March 16 for an amended site plan to a 30,000-square-foot Volkswagen automobile dealership currently proposed at 2351 William D. Tate Ave., Ste. 100, Grapevine.
An additional 9,865 square feet of space added to the dealership will allow for the construction of a new building. The building will be owned by Principle Auto and used to sell vehicles by brands Vantas and Karma Automotive. The adjacent Volkswagen dealership was first approved by City Council in August 2020.
Karma Automotive is a luxury electric car brand based in Southern California and was started in 2014. The second brand, Vantas, is a new concept from HAAH Automotive Holdings in collaboration with Chinese automaker Chery. Vantas vehicles will be based on Chery’s already in-production Exeed brand.
