Tarrant Appraisal District announces network issues

The Tarrant Appraisal District announced there was a network disruption on March 21.

A news release said the local taxing entity took action to secure the network and was working with an independent cybersecurity expert to assist in the restoration of the network.

According to the news release, the network issues made some of the systems and data inaccessible.

The security issue came a week after TAD announced a new website after technical issues made the previous website temporarily unavailable.
