Get ready for live music, food trucks and fireworks at Colleyville’s Stars and Guitars.

The annual patriotic celebration is back June 23 at Colleyville City Hall. This year’s event features country music artists Darryl Worley, whose singles include “Have You Forgotten” and “I Miss My Friend.” Stars and Guitars will also feature stilts walkers and patriotic giveaways, according to the city’s e-newsletter.

What you need to know
  • Stars and Guitars will take place from 7-10 p.m on the south grounds of City Hall at 100 Main St., Colleyville.
  • Food trucks will begin service at 7 p.m. and serve until 9:30 p.m.
  • Darryll Worley takes the stage at 8 p.m.
  • Fireworks show begins at 9:30 p.m.
  • The south lawn is available for free lawn seating. Attendees are welcome to bring blankets and picnic chairs. Tents or large canopies are not permitted.
  • Alcohol will not be served or sold at the event, but attendees are allowed to bring their own.
  • Parking is available at the City Park parking lot and the south lot of City Hall.
What else?

This year’s event features a new tailgating space in the south parking lot. The city is prepared to keep guests cool and hydrated with cooling stations, free bottled water and the library will be open with air conditioning.
