The indoor sand playground, Diggers Cove, has opened in Plano.

Diggers Cove offers four zones including a large sand pit, a remote-control construction zone, an animated sandbox and an interactive creative wall, Owner Saira Waheed said.
Diggers Cove is open for children ages 10 and under, Waheed said. The business also does birthday parties and field trips with an interactive studio.
The business had its soft opening in early September, Waheed said and plans to hold a grand opening event Oct. 7-9.
