Southlake Chamber of Commerce's 21st Oktoberfest celebration is set for Oct. 14-16 in Southlake Town Square.

Oktoberfest Southlake is expecting 100,000 guests throughout the weekend who will enjoy a variety of food, beverages and booth items such as handcrafted arts and crafts, according to a news release.

Attendees can expect a range of events, including the wiener dog races, performances from AC/DC tribute band Back in Black and Los Angeles-based band Queen Nation, and a children’s area with a petting zoo, the release stated. Visitors can also enter to win the Oktober Sweepstakes for a two-night stay at the Hangar Hotel in Fredericksburg and a tour of the Altstadt Brewery.

Attendance is free with no admission and no parking fees. This year’s event is cashless and ticketless, and will accept debit and credit cards, the release stated.


A free shuttle service will be available from White’s Chapel United Methodist Church at 185 S. White Chapel Blvd. The shuttle is available 4-11:15 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-11:45 p.m. Saturday and 1-8:45 p.m. Sunday.
