Why are you running for office?

Serving on Town Council for the last two years has given me a much greater appreciation and understanding of the opportunities, issues and challenges our town and school face. Our town has experienced tremendous turnover and loss of institutional knowledge from resignations, including some key town employees and two council members.

What are the biggest challenges facing the city?

The current lack of leadership and inclusion, along with the divisiveness has created a hostile and toxic work environment that has and continues to impede the work of the Town Council/board of trustees and overall effective governance.

How do you plan to address these issues?

First, adopt a code of conduct. Second, collaborate with each council member to get their priorities and create a master list for the coming year with consensus from all council and report out to our residents. Third, never issue an agenda that doesn’t have council input and feedback.

1. Bring respect and unity back to Westlake. Revitalize community trust and respect in town government. 2. Leadership and execution for Westlake Academy. Address the leadership gap. 3. Embrace the potential of Entrada. Foster an inviting and cooperative ecosystem attracting businesses.
