Incumbent Eric Lannen has won re-election to Place 2 on the Carroll ISD board of trustees, according to unofficial results from the May 6 general election.

With 167 out of 169 precincts reporting in Tarrant County, Lannen has received 1,639 votes, or about 87.04% of votes. Zee Duran has received 244 votes, or about 12.96% of votes.

"I really appreciate all the people that have supported me through the last few months as I've been running a campaign," Lannen said. "I'm looking forward to continuing to serve on the Carroll ISD board for the next three years."

Lannen was first elected to a three-year term in 2020. He has more than 32 years of experience in human resources, according to his campaign website. If re-elected, Lannen had said he is committed to increasing salaries, retention bonuses, supporting a balanced budget and more.

Based on early voting results from the May 6 general election, Eric Lannen is leading the race for Place 2 on the Carroll ISD board of trustees.

Lannen has received 1,157 votes, or 86.86%. In opposition, Zee Duran has received 175 votes, or 13.14% of the vote.
