Leadership GCISD is a semester-long program for parents, staff, community members and business leaders who are seeking an in-depth understanding of the day-to-day operations of Grapevine-Colleyville ISD.

What you need to know

The district website states there will be four committee meetings during the 2025 spring semester. The schedule and topics for each meetings is as follows:
  • Jan. 21: Superintendent welcome and academics team (instructional leadership; special services; curriculum and instruction) – Grapevine Middle School
  • Feb. 25: Trustee welcome, finance, human resources and technology – GCISD administration building
  • March 25: Trustee welcome and schools team (athletics; fine arts; career and technical education; counseling; health services; student services) – Grapevine High School/Mustang Activity Center/Technology Education and Career Center
  • April 22: Trustee welcome, operations and communications, graduation – Mustang Panther Stadium Press Box
According to the district website, all meetings will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

How to apply

Director of Communications Rosemary Gladden said while there is no set deadline, district officials would prefer if individuals submitted their application by Jan. 10 to allow for planning.


Leadership GCISD is one of several volunteer committees that provides district leaders with valuable feedback while offering opportunities for employees, parents and community members to become more involved and make a positive impact on GCISD students.
