Southlake City Council approved a site plan for Bread Winners Cafe & Bakery during the Sept. 3 meeting.

The details

According to city documents, the request was to add a new walk-in cooler and standalone patio trellis for the Dallas-based company's new location.

Robert and Stephanie Hall are the owners of the Southlake location.

A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows work started on the building—which was formerly Miracle-Ear—on June 12. The estimated completion date for the $400,000 renovation is Dec. 31. The building size is 5,175 square feet, according to documents.

Bread Winners Cafe & Bakery offers menus for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, according to its website. Some of the offerings include avocado toast with an option to add salmon, eggs or jalapeño bacon. There is also brunch tots, an order of tater tots topped with queso, jalapeño cream gravy, pork belly, pico de gallo and sriracha.

Other items include waffles, French toast, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles, flatbreads, soup, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, chicken fried steak, shrimp and grits, meatloaf and salmon.

Cocktails, beer and wine are also served.


Bread Winner has two locations in Dallas and another storefront in Plano.
