In the cities of Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake, there will be swearing-in ceremonies held Tuesday for City Council members elected in the May 6 elections.

Grapevine

The Grapevine City Council meeting will be called to order at 6:15 p.m. in City Hall, 200 S. Main St., Grapevine. Once the meeting starts, the election results will be canvassed and the newly elected council members will take the oath of the office. Chris Coy was re-elected to Place 5 and Duff O'Dell was re-elected to Place 6. A Mayor pro tem will also be selected.

Colleyville

The newly elected City Council members will take the oath of office and have a brief reception at the City Council meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 100 Main St., Colleyville. Kathy Wheat was elected to Place 3 and George Dodson was elected to Place 4. A Mayor pro tem will also be selected.

Southlake

The Southlake City Council meeting will be called to order at 5:30 p.m. in Town Hall, 1400. Main St., Southlake. The newly elected council members will take the oath of the office and a reception will be held after. Shahid Shafi was re-elected to Place 1 and Gary Fawks was re-elected to Place 6. A Mayor pro tem will also be selected at the meeting.
