TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Grapevine is in the midst of a $2.4 million renovation.

The details

A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows the project includes a new lobby renovation, restroom, gym and breakfast area with updated finishes on the first floor. There will also be minor electrical and plumbing work in guest rooms, according to the filing.

The renovations were slated to be completed by Nov. 4 but are still ongoing, according to hotel management.

The hotel, officially TownePlace Suites Dallas DFW Airport North/Grapevine, is owned by Summit Hotel Properties. The Austin-based company owns 95 hotels, according to its website.
