Texas Woman’s University will host the 2026 NorTex College Fair. The free event will include a variety of sessions with dozens of higher education institutions from across the country.
The fair will take place at TWU’s Student Union at Hubbard Hall in Denton from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 8.
The details
Major universities and colleges that will be on-site include the University of Alabama, University of Arkansas, Kansas State University, Arizona State University, Oklahoma State University, University of Florida, University of Massachusetts Amherst and University of Maryland.
“Choosing what comes after high school is a big decision, and not every student or family has the time or resources to visit multiple campuses,” said Brittnee Hernandez, manager of strategic initiatives and operations at Texas Woman’s University. “This college fair brings those opportunities together in one place, giving students the chance to explore colleges, universities and trade schools, ask meaningful questions, and connect with people who can help guide their next steps.”
Representatives with dozens of colleges and universities will be on hand to answer questions about financial aid opportunities, admissions, school culture and programs.
The NorTex College Fair is one of the largest college fairs in Texas and is traditionally held in Denton. It has been held at the University of North Texas in the past and has partnered with North Central Texas College, as well.
Both of those schools will have representatives at this year’s fair. Additionally, TWU will host sessions on university scholarship opportunities and how to fill out financial aid information.

While the event is free, registration is still required. Students and their families can register at the NorTex College Fair site.
Parking will be free for attending students and families at specific locations, according to TWU’s website.
