Fun Box is bringing its inflatable bounce house park back to Grapevine.

The city council approved a mass gathering permit for Fun Box franchisee George Tadros during the Aug. 21 meeting. The outdoor bounce park will be in the parking lot at Grapevine Mills and will take up 53,000 square feet of parking lot space.

According to city documents, the bounce house will be open on or around Oct. 4 and run through Dec. 8, operating on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in 80-minute sessions.

There are 10 play zones, including Marshmallow Mountain, Gumball’s Gallop, Tumble Temple and an obstacle course.

“We are super excited to come back,” Tadros said. “[Grapevine] was the best campaign in all of DFW and it was one of the top three in the country.”

Tadros told the council he is looking at an indoor space in the area to operate the bounce park all year.
