The chamber’s former president and CEO was Chelsea Rose. Sanchez begins his position May 15, the release states.
Sanchez has over 20 years of experience in event planning, sales and human resources with a leadership background in hospitality, convention and medical industries, the release states. He co-owned S3 Global Events, which provides research, negotiating and contracting services.
At the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce, Sanchez has served as an ambassador team lead and was the retention coordinator for the past two years. He also served in leadership roles in the Meeting Professionals International organization, including as president, vice president of education events and director of member care, the release states.
Sanchez volunteers with his church and has three daughters who are enrolled and active in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, the release states.
