The new owner of the 32,989-square-foot building, located on 3.21 acres, is considering repurposing the property into a large single user or multiple smaller offices for local professionals, according to a press release.
The company name of the new owners has not been disclosed.
SkateTown, a family-owned and -operated roller rink in Grapevine, closed on Aug. 21 after 24 years of business. Owners Mike and Kathy Vouklizas announced their retirement on the roller rink’s Facebook page.
“We are excited to retire while we can still enjoy it, but it was a hard decision while our skating business is going so good,” Kathy Vouklizas told Community Impact Newspaper back in August. “We will miss all the friends we have made along the way."
