1. Renner Road water project
Project: The work will increase the water system capacity in northwest Richardson, including the installation of a new waterline along Renner Road. Construction of a new ground storage tank and pump station near Point North Park will also occur in the final stage of the project.
Update: The westbound lane on Renner Road near Custer Parkway is now open. Renner Road may still experience temporary rolling lane closures during non-peak traffic hours as the project enters the final construction phase.

Project: Road work on Marilee Road spans from Preston Road to Dallas Parkway. The work is shared with the city of Gunter, Grayson County, Collin County, city of Celina and adjacent subdivision developers. The project will be a full depth reclamation of the existing asphalt roadway.
Update: The project is in the design phase and is finalizing additional right of way components.

3. I-35 Corridor
Project: Construction on the I-35 corridor will be reconstructed and widen the four-lane highway to an eight-lane highway and widen the frontage road at this interchange, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
Update: Two northbound lanes on I-35E between North Texas Boulevard and Bonnie Brae Street is closed from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. overnight from Jan. 16-23. The northbound I-35E exit to southbound I-35W is closed during these times, as well, and detour signs will be in place.

Project: Concrete streets with curbs, gutter drainage and sidewalks will be implemented from Lois Street to Marshall Creek Road.
Update: The road is currently in the design phase and Roanoke Council approved Denton County funding of $2.25 million at the Jan. 13 meeting.

5. North Beach Street and Champions View Parkway traffic signal
Project: The work includes the installation of a new traffic signal with new pedestrian sidewalk and crosswalks, ADA compliant ramps and Accessible Pedestrian Signals, or APS.
Update: Traffic signal activation was delayed because of a manufacturer’s defect of the mast arm. The delivery of the mast arm is scheduled for the end of February according to the city of Fort Worth.
