A new Plano-based collectible business, Quie Collectibles, launched its site in October.
What they offer
Quie Collectibles has Pokemon cards from different countries, trading card accessories, Funko pops, comic books and more on its website.
Business owner Mario Rodriguez said his business started from a passion for collecting cards for their artwork. He said the same card from a different region would sometimes be more affordable than its English counterpart.
"The appeal goes beyond the text on a card. Packaging, set lineups, promotional cards and exclusive products can all give a release its own character," he said. "I hope Quie encourages people to explore those options and find something they love that wasn't previously on their radar."
