A new two-lane road in Frisco’s northern corridor should open before the end of the year, according to the city’s capital improvement project dashboard.

The breakdown

Construction on the road, referred to as Frisco Street North to minimize confusion with Frisco Street, began in late 2023, according to the project dashboard.

Frisco Street North will connect Universal Parkway, another Frisco transportation project expected to open in 2025, and PGA Parkway. Construction costs $20.86 million and is funded by the city.
