The Frisco Chamber of Commerce received a 5-Star Accreditation, the highest accreditation available, from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in November. The U.S. Chamber awards accreditation based on a chamber's policies, procedures and community involvement. The Frisco Chamber of Commerce promotes and advocates for businesses through various resources. The chamber has an office at 6843 Main St., Frisco. 972-335-9522. www.friscochamber.com

Lindsey has been involved in newspapers in some form since high school. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2014 with a degree in Journalism.
