​​With all precincts reporting in Collin County and Denton County, unofficial voting results show incumbent John Keating won the Frisco City Council, Place 1 seat with 8,334 votes, or 59.38%.

“I’m very excited,” Keating said. “Frisco has spoken. This is a big win, not just for me, but for the city.”

Mark Piland secured 5,701 votes, or 40.62%. Results are unofficial until canvassed.

​​With 103 precincts reporting in Collin County and Denton County, incumbent John Keating is maintaining the lead in the race for Frisco City Council, Place 1 with 6,581 votes for 58.79%. Opponent John Redmond follows with 4,614 votes and 41.21%.

Collin County and Denton County have released early voting totals for the Frisco City Council Place 1 race in the May 4 election.

The candidates are Mark Piland and incumbent John Keating. According to unofficial results, Keating has 5,831 votes, or 59.37% of the votes, and Piland follows with 3,990 votes at 40.63%.
