Located on the Pegasus Lawn, the event website states the ice rink features holiday music and views of the downtown Dallas skyline. After skating, children can warm up with hot chocolate while adults enjoy seasonal cocktails at the pop-up Blitzen’s Bar.6. Galleria Dallas ice rink

While this indoor ice rink is open year-round, during the holiday dates it features the nation's tallest indoor Christmas tree—at 95 feet—in the middle of the rink, according to its website. The Grand Holiday Ice Show, featuring some of the world’s best figure skaters and ice dancers, will take place Dec. 8 at 9 a.m. and benefit Broadway Dallas.

7. Skate the Square in Frisco

The outdoor ice rink is 80 feet by 55 feet in size, according to the event website. Private groups can rent the entire ice rink for $500 per hour for up to 50 skaters.
