North Texans are in for a “one of a kind” experience as Stonebriar Centre in Frisco welcomes World of Barbie.

The event is produced by Kilburn Live, a media company focused on touring live shows, in collaboration with Mattel, the toy company that makes Barbie, said Hope O’Briant, senior in-house counsel for Kilburn Live.

O’Briant added that the attraction will be roughly 25,000 square feet and will feature several interactive installations, such as the Barbie Dreamhouse, where visitors can explore the several rooms, and Barbie DreamCamper Van, where attendees can sit behind the wheel of Barbie’s full-sized camper.

Other exhibits include:
  • You Can Be Anything Doll Boxes
  • Barbie Interstellar Rocket
  • You Can Be Anything Tv Network
  • Barbie Movie Theater
In addition, World of Barbie features a museum containing several early Barbie dolls and Dreamhouse collections.

“Barbie has had over 285 careers,” O’Briant said. “Everything from a scientist to a veterinarian to a reporter. It’s really focused on Barbie’s theme of ‘you can be anything.’”
