Several new restaurants have opened recently in Community Impact's Dallas-Fort Worth coverage areas, including a new Taiwanese restaurant, a dessert shop selling bite-size cookies and a Japanese noodle restaurant, among others.

The Taiwanese restaurant’s menu includes rice rolls, pancakes, sticky rice, wonton soup and more. Tao Rice Roll has locations in Plano, Houston, Sugarland and College Station.Microchip Cookies


The dessert shop has opened its first Plano location at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Preston Road. The shop offers a variety of bite-size cookies, including chocolate chip, salted caramel chocolate chip and a Texas-inspired cowboy choc-oat-chip.Khashoka Middle Eastern Cuisine

Khashoka Middle Eastern Cuisine serves up recipes from Jordan and the Middle East. The menu includes Jordanian mansaf, a rice and lamb dish considered the national dish of Jordan, other traditional dishes like fatteh and kofta, as well as hummuses and dips, salads and skillets.Coco Mango

The shop sells Hong Kong-style desserts and Taiwanese bubble tea with fresh mango elements, according to its website. Menu items include fruit teas and bubble teas, smoothies, waffles, crepe cakes, and ice cream and sundaes.Wabi House

Wabi House is bringing Japanese cuisine to Keller through its soft opening in early December. The restaurant menu focuses mainly on ramen noodles like tonkotsu, spicy miso, shoyu, dry garlic and tsukumen. Wabi House also has yakitori, a skewer with different meat options, and small plates like takoyaki and bone marrow crab.Expansions


Partenope Ristorante

Partenope Ristorante is expanding its space in Richardson’s CORE district. The restaurant serves a variety of Neapolitan pizzas, handmade pastas and other Italian dishes for lunch and dinner. Owner Dino Santonicola said that the expansion will allow the restaurant to add increased seating and a dedicated room for private events.
