Three warehouses, an office building and several distribution centers are in the works for Star Business Park located in north Frisco.

The Frisco Planning & Zoning Commission approved open space and preliminary site plans for these buildings on over nearly 140 acres along the northwest corner of Preston Road and Corporate Drive at a March 10 meeting.

This comes after a 216-acre industrial park purchase by Blue Star Land, owned by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, in 2018. The land is intended to hold a 400,000-square-foot merchandising distribution and sales center for the Cowboys.

The commission denied a final plat in the industrial park for a distribution center, warehouse building and detention pond over nearly 43 acres on the northwest corner of Gateway Drive and Rockhill Parkway.

The plat was denied due to failure to meet the Frisco’s subdivision and zoning ordinances, engineering standards and other standards, according to city documents.
