A 400,000-square-foot Dallas Cowboys Merchandising Distribution and Sales Center is coming to Frisco.

The Frisco Community Development Corp., the Frisco Economic Development Corp. and Frisco City Council approved an agreement Tuesday to allow Blue Star Land to purchase Park25, a 216-acre industrial park in North Frisco.

Blue Star Land, which is owned by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, plans to continue construction on the unfinished industrial park and build the merchandising center.

The Cowboys merchandising center is currently located in Irving. FEDC President Ron Patterson said the center's operations would relocate to Frisco once the facility is constructed.

As part of the agreement, the merchandising center must create 35 full-time jobs. The city approved a 50 percent ad valorem tax grant and a 50 percent sales tax grant, both for a 10-year period.
