A luxury hotel and condo mixed-use project at The Gate could be closer to becoming a reality pending Frisco City Council approval.

Council will consider and act upon a master development agreement with FHC Acquisitions LLC at a Dec. 3 meeting. FHC is purchasing the project from the developers of The Gate, the 41-acre development on the northwest corner of John Hickman Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway.

FHC is proposing to construct a 225-room hotel and a 150-unit condominium complex as well as 15,000 square feet of meeting space and 16,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, according to city documents.

The agreement also proposes a $14.5 million incentive program over the life of the project, per city documents.
