The design for Frisco’s future library will come from M. Arthur Gensler Jr. & Associates Inc., the architecture, design and planning firm that brought the Omni Frisco Hotel and The Star in Frisco.
Frisco City Council voted on the $5.4 million agreement with the firm at a Nov. 19 meeting, according to city documents.
Gensler will turn the Beal Aerospace building on Dallas Parkway into the city’s new two-floor, 146,000-square-foot library, per city documents. The library is projected to be completed in late 2022.
