Development for the upcoming Professional Golfers’ Association of America headquarters in Frisco is another step closer.
The Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission approved a preliminary site plan for a golf course, country club, five retail buildings, two restaurant buildings, an indoor commercial amusement building, a hotel and convocation center, and a hall reception building at a Nov. 12 meeting.
This preliminary site plan spans nearly 630 acres on the southwest corner of the Legacy Drive and Rockhill Parkway, according to city documents.
A total 2.7 million square feet of open space is required for the development, including the golf course, per the alternative space plan. Around a quarter of this is planned for retail and resort areas.
